The Indispensable Ingenuity of Wheel Assembly
Hello, NEPEST fans!
Today, we’re going to take a deep dive into the assembly process of NEPEST’s high-quality wheels. The wheels are one of the most critical components of a bicycle, and their performance significantly impacts the overall riding experience. At NEPEST, every wheel we produce is meticulously designed, with attention to the smallest details, to deliver optimal performance.
1. Spoke Insertion
The wheel assembly begins with inserting the spokes. First, the spokes are threaded through the hub. NEPEST uses lightweight yet highly rigid carbon fiber spokes, which make the entire wheel lighter and stronger.
2. Rim Installation
Next, the rim is installed. The rim is a crucial component that surrounds the wheel, and NEPEST rims are designed with a 28/21 mm width to maximize aerodynamic efficiency. Careful installation is essential to ensure even spoke tension.
3. Spoke Lacing
Spoke lacing is a critical step in maintaining the wheel’s strength and balance. When threading the spokes through the rim, they are crossed in a specific pattern. With NEPEST wheels, this process is carried out with exceptional precision to ensure optimal tension and balance.
4. Spoke Lacing (Crossing)
Finally, the spokes are fitted onto the rim to secure them firmly. Each spoke is securely fixed to the rim while maintaining even tension. Balance is paramount in this step. Ensuring all spokes have appropriate tension guarantees the wheel's roundness and strength.
NEPEST wheels are designed and manufactured with meticulous attention to detail to provide the best possible performance. We will continue to strive to deliver products that riders can trust.
